Menlo Park is the southern most city in San Mateo County, next to the border of Santa Clara County. In 2010 the population was 32,026. Nearly 70% of its residents have advanced degrees. Menlo Park is the site of Facebook’s main campus, the founding city of Google, and also home for several venture capital firms on Sand Hill Rd and SRI International (formerly Stanford Research Institute).

Downtown Menlo Park is centered around Santa Cruz Ave near El Camino Real. It is a wonderful place to walk around, amongst the many restaurants and small shops.
